September! This feels so much more like the new year than January after all the years I enjoyed in school! It’s a time for buckling down and being more organized this year – which I never was – and a time to buy all kinds of gorgeous stationery!
I bought myself a pack of 10 purple 1.0 mm Energel pens, my favourite, as I’m burning through about one or two a month these days. And I’m starting both a new research notebook and graph notebook because I’ve burned through those too!
Holy cow, did I write a lot (again).
August 2026 was an absolute banner month for writing for me! I shared 86,842 words between the site, the Zoom workshop that’ll we’ll have in a week or two, and the e-book of the month, Vitamin C: It’s not just for breakfast!
It works out to about 250 pages in Pages, my word processor, which is insane! And think that this is what I shared, not all the first drafts, edits, and hand written research!!! I burned through two more pens! And I’m about to finish up a notebook and a graph paper notes book.
September Zoom workshop!
Let’s have the fun with botanicals workshop we missed because of my almost two-week long migraine (with aura! yay!) on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at noon PDT (Vancouver, Canada time)
I have three formulas planned so far – an epic, leave-in conditioner with all kinds of actives; a gorgeous face or eye gel-cream; and a powdered cleansing grains with loads of powdered ingredients.
