For more than 10 years, I’ve been saying that my first attempts with Olivem 1000 (INCI: Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate) were fails, that it’s a super picky emulsifier, that I wasn’t a fan until a few years ago. I found this as I was looking through Photos to illustrate a post I’m writing on emulsion fails…umm…hmm…what? Does it say Olivem 800 (INCI: Ceteareth-6 Olivate) on the label? Does it say Olivem 800 in the post? Sigh…????
Check out the new lotion fails section of the blog to see more about this topic. Eek! I said it was Olivem 1000 there, too!
