An update on my health and what’s coming up on the site…

Hello! And thank you for joining me here on the site for this month! I thought I’d share a quick update with you about what’s going on here and with me.

Things are going better for me health wise. I’ve had what I’m calling my 50,000 km tune up over the last ten days – getting Botox for the spasms in my face, head, neck, and shoulders, visiting with my endocrinologist. visiting my family doctor, and receiving anaesthetic in trigger points in my arms to help with those spasms this past Friday with a visit for a yearly series of epidurals next week – and things are going better. (Thank goodness for Canadian universal healthcare or I’d really be the $6 million dollar woman. And yes, it really takes a team to keep me upright most days.)

I’ve been able to type a bit more, but I’m not able to put in 8 hours day on the laptop just yet and using my trackpad is surprisingly painful.

I managed to finish the e-book for the month – you’ll see that tomorrow – and I’ve been working on a few series that I hope to share shortly.

i know I’ve said this for a while now, but it’s like the combining emollients series: I have to create an outline, sketch out the series, write the posts, then create formulating posts for each section, which can be the really long bit. I’ve had diagrams especially drawn for the series, so it’s one step closer to existing! Plus, you know, I’m distracted by shiny things sometimes!

I’m a bit addicted to my e-bike, and you’ll see a few formulas I’ve created for cooling spray and apres sun spray over the next month. I kinda got burned and had a horrible reaction with the cream I use on my arms for spasms last week, so I’m even more obsessed with sun protection and post-protection now! I have to remember to re-apply sunscreen on longer rides. Oh, and I hope to share more about our favourite sunscreens in June too!

And I will have gelled version of the quick refreshing scalp spray with salicylic acid shortly as per your requests!

This is why I love your comments! You help me figure out what to write, share, or formulate next! Please keep those comments coming!

Again, thanks for sharing my love of formulating with me this month! I hope you’re making all kinds of wonderful things and sharing them with those you love or selling them at markets and such! And thanks for your patience as we continue to figure out what’s going on with my body and health!
