Updates around the blog for September 29, 2021

Hello everyone! I had a few updates to share on what’s happening around the blog!

This month’s e-zine is ready!

I’m super excited to announce this month’s e-book – Creating oily gels with Sucragel – which has been a long time in the making. It comes as part of your $10 monthly subscription, so click here to get the coupon code so you can download it now.

If you’re not a $10 subscriber, you can find it in the shop for $18! Click the link to see it and the table of contents.

If you’d like to become a $10 subscriber to save money on the e-book, click here to upgrade your membership to the higher amount for the rest of the month. When Raymond has added your name to the coupon list, you’ll be able to download the coupon code and receive the e-book as part of your membership.

Things relating to arm pain and the 1st of October

As I’ve mentioned a few times, I’m having some real difficulty with spasms and serious pain in my arms and hands, which is making it hard to type, scroll on a screen, use a trackpad, tap things out on my iPad, or even hold a pen. I’m finding it easier to type – yay! – and the pain is subsiding, but I’m only able to get a few hours of writing a day before it gets to be too much, and that’s frustrating as heck.

I’m going to massage therapy on Thursday, September 30th, to see if that will help, but it might make me unable to post anything for a few days as it tends to be worse the second or third day before it starts getting better.

Sadly, dictation isn’t an option for so many reasons, but doing things like creating blog posts requires a lot of mousing/track padding to do links, adding photos, copying and pasting, and other really active things.

I hope to have the start of the month stuff ready for October 1 – like the suppliers’ coupons – but please have patience if they aren’t updated if I need to rest my arms and not type.

The good news is that I’ve spent the last week polishing up loads of different posts and formulas to share with you soon, so things should be back to my normal posting routine shortly. Yay!

Thank you for your lovely and continued support of the blog! Raymond, Sasja, and I are so happy you continue to join us for this awesome craft and science we call formulating! And thank you for all the kind words and thoughts you’ve shared with me over this trying period – you really are so wonderful!
