Crothix

Crothix (PEG-150 pentaerythrityl tetrastearate (and) PEG-6 caprylic/capric trigylcerides (and) water) is composed of esters derived from stearic acid and coconut oil. It’s non-ionic and it will create clear thickened surfactant systems. Crothix is tolerant to electrolytes and cationic salts, so you can use as much aloe vera and salt as you wish! It only works to thicken certain types of surfactants, like the sulfates, so if you end up with something that’s like “runny honey” at 5%, you have a surfactant that won’t thicken with it.
