Point of Interest

The home of SwiftCraftyMonkey! Join Susan as she obsesses about cosmetic chemistry and other things (some possibly related to monkeys). Often strange, occasionally useful, and always worth a stop as a point of interest on your journey through the Intertron.

Upcycled

An upcycled product or ingredient is one made from ingredients that might have previously been considered to be a waste product, like seeds, rinds, peels, nuts, kernels, stones, pits, stems, leaves, and so on. Apricot kernel oil, pear seed oil, blueberry seed oil, raspberry seed oil, strawberry seed oil, cherry kernel oil, and those kinds of oils are considered upcycled ingredients.
